2026 Hunter's Safety Class

Classes will be on DATES WILL BE POSTED WHEN AVAILABLE from 6:00 to 9:30 pm and you must attend all 3 classes. Classes are held at Outagamie Conservation Club W3502 Mayflower Rd, Hortonville, WI 54944.

Pre-registration required no sign-ups on the first night of class. Pre-register by emailing Jim Allen at archeryasylum@gmail.com or call 920-574-9654.

Must include the student’s name, date of birth, DNR number, and contact information. Once registered, you will get an email with instructions for what needs to be completed before the first night of class. There is a class fee per person to be paid on the first night of class.

Note: Bow Hunter Safety will take place on Friday, April 4th, and Thursday, April 10th. Please let Jim know if you are interested in attending that class as well.

Our Next class will be held in mid-August of 2025.

Please check the Wisconsin DNR website up to six weeks in advance to register for our next available course.

Snowmobile Safety

Mandatory class if you were born on or after 1/1/1985.

Snowmobile safety class at Outagamie Conservation Club

Thursday, December 4: 5:30 registration, class 6pm-9pm

Thursday, December 11: class 6pm-9pm

Thursday, December 18: class 6pm-9pm. Test night. Written test only.

Must attend all 3 nights. Cost is $10 per student. No online registration. Register the first night of class.

Anyone who is at least 12 years old and who is born on or after January 1st 1985 is required to successfully complete a DNR sponsored Snowmobile Safety Course to obtain a valid Snowmobile Safety Certificate.

OCC offers the DNR sponsored snowmobile safety class this December.

You must obtain a DNR Customer ID Number prior to taking the class. If you do not have a DNR Customer ID Number, call WI DNR customer service 7am-10pm 1-888-936-7463.

OTHER COURSES

BEGINNER ARCHERY CLASSES

2026 Classes

Starting Tuesday, April 7th, to Wednesday, May 19th.

Class #1 - OPEN class for anyone (ages 10 and up) from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Class #2 - LADIES only (ages 10 and up) from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm

No more than 20 people per class.

 We do offer a variety of practice bows and targets. Classes will be held outside on our outdoor range. You will need to dress for the weather. 

If you have your own equipment to use, please do! 

We are able to assist with bow setup and adjustments!

  We will accept registrations for the class until Wednesday, April 2nd.

  Costs: $75 total

$20 per person (covers broken arrow replacement and targets for class).
